Learning ObjectivesMy goals within Stockton University was to expand my knowledge within the Environmental field. Along the way I built many meaningful relationship and learned how to articulate myself alongside and in front of peers. The knowledge and skills I obtained along the way have made me a more worldly person, allowing me to grow with more empathy towards the struggles we face throughout the day.
Traveling and ExperiencesMy initial study abroad trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos islands opened my eyes to green tourism and learning about the nature and environmental struggles of regions around the world. Since then I have traveled to Norway, learning of their glacier carved fjords and snow pack hydrology, along with them being one of the few countries to still regularly consume whale. Soon after that I traveled to Switzerland and learned of their un-subsidized farming, which aimed them toward a more sustainable farming region. With higher costs of beef and pork, chicken and vegetables were often more chosen meats, which resulted in a more eco-friendly food climate.
